Description

Carved entirely from cedarwood, this lovely handmade fetish was created by Zuni carver Justin Red Elk.  The piece showcases a butterfly maiden, wings outstretched behind its body and checkerboard lines lightly etched into the body.  In many Native American cultures the butterfly is a transformer, with the ability to know or change the mind.  1 5/8″ tall x 5/8″ wide x 1 1/4″ deep.
