Description

Featuring a reoccurring water serpent and wave design on both handle and base, this stunning basket was created by Zuni potter Darla Westika.  The piece showcases a flowing, curving wave and water serpent pattern, the serpent distinguishable by a small, red dot within a larger black head.  It flows into a wave design and is accented on the top by fine line designs, which often represent rain.  Scalloped edges finish the opening of the basket beautifully. 4 3/4″ tall x 5 1/4″ wide.
