Description

Carved from Picasso marble varying light to dark brown, this impressive Zuni fetish by Cody Cheama depicts a scorpion.  Its pincers extend outward in front of its head, which is accented with turquoise eyes, while its tail curves back up toward is body.  In many Native American cultures, scorpions symbolize transformation, strength and chaos.  5/8″ tall x 2 1/8″ long x 1 1/8″ wide.
