Description
Created by Santa Clara potter Ericc Tafoya, this traditional seed pot features a deeply carved avanyu (water serpent) surrounding the body of the piece. The avanyu’s lightning tongue extends outward from its mouth, its wavy body, representing water, surrounding a majority of the body of the seed pot. A tiny hole is left at the top of the piece, and it is finished with a mirror-like stone polish. 4″ tall x 4 1/2″ wide.
