Description
Carved entirely by hand from cottonwood root, this adorable, traditional Koshare Kachina Doll was made by Hopi artist Wilmer Kaye. The koshare is painted in recognizable white and black stripes, the accents around its knees and wrists painted dark blue. It wears a pair of brown moccasins and smiles wide, holding an adorable carved teddy bear in both hands. Koshare are considered jesters and tricksters. 10 1/4″ tall x 2 3/4 wide x 2 1/2″ deep.
