Beautifully stone polished, this unique and interesting handmade jar by well-known Hopi potter Stetson Setalla showcases black patterns over a brown-red base. Solid brown-red at the jar’s opening gives way to a black band, below which reoccurring whirlwind patterns are painted. Just below that, an alternating black and red-brown checkerboard pattern is featured, which graduates smaller toward another black band. The piece is finished with a base left red-brown. 6″ tall x 8 1/2: wide.
