Acoma potter David Antonio, known for his traditional, handmade and hand painted pieces, created this beautiful jar in the same fashion, featuring various water related patterns. The polychrome jar, painted in red, white, and black, features a gorgeous, flowing wave design at the top, just below the entirely black rim, while a nod to old Anasazi wave designs is painted in reoccurring fashion in black just below. The bottom of the piece, just below the red painted base, showcases black and red cloud and rain designs, the rain represented by lines. 6 3/4″ tall x 7 1/4″ wide.
