Painted black, white, and red and holding two feathers, this Dog Kachina by Navajo carver Harrison Jones also features both feathers and leather. The dog’s face is painted predominantly black and white, with red accents within the ears and mouth. The back of its head and entire neck are covered with feathers, while the dog’s lower half is covered by leather pieces, the main piece painted in black, white and red geometric designs. The dog is finished with leather around its wrists, and it holds a single feather in each hand. 7 1/2″ tall x 3 3/8″ wide.
