Created by Navajo carver Harrison Jones, this badger kachina comprises cottonwood, feathers, and leather. The badger, said to cure the sick, is often prayed to for the growth of healing herbs. This particular piece features a red, black, white, and yellow painted face, the head surrounded by black and white feathers. He holds a single feather in one arm, and is almost entirely covered in tan leather, one piece painted in red, black and white. 7 1/2″ tall x 3 7/8″ wide.
