Description
Depicting a crow, this Navajo kachina doll featured feather and leather accents and is painted predominantly in brown, black, and turquoise. The head of the crow is painted turquoise with black and white accents, while its neck is surrounded by white fur. The top of the head also features white fur and brown feathers, with an additional feather held in one hand. The torso and legs are painted brown and white, while white leather surrounds the waist and is painted in geometric patterns in red, black, and turquoise. The Crow Mother is said to be the mother of all kachina, and watches children as they play. 8 1/2″ tall x 3″ wide x 2 1/2″ deep.
