Description

Multiple stones combine with sterling silver and are finished with delicate etching to create this lovely hummingbird pendant by Zuni silversmith Tamara Pinto.  The hummingbird’s head is predominantly inlaid with turquoise but features a small portion of coral, while its eye and beak are inlaid with jet.  Its wings showcase turquoise and pink mussel shell, while its body is inlaid with abalone, and its tail feathers with golden mother of pearl and malachite.  Wavy sterling slivers separate much of the inlay work, finishing the piece beautifully.  2 1/4″ long including bail x 1 1/2″ wide.
