Description
This small, traditional belt buckle comprising sandcast sterling silver and a single turquoise stone was handmade by Navajo silversmiths and husband and wife team Bennett and Dreama Yazzie. The piece’s gorgeous turquoise stone rests at the center, varying light to medium blue in color and containing portions of golden matrix. It is set in a simple sterling silver bezel and surrounded at the base by a row of applique sterling dots, followed by a thick sterling band cut out to form a pattern along the sides and bottom, and finished with a row of larger applique sterling dots at the top. The remainder of the buckle comprises flowing, sandcast sterling silver. 2 1/2″ long x 1 3/4″ wide. Fits belt size 1″.
