Description
Handmade by Jemez potter Mary Lucero, this beautiful storyteller figurine features a seated woman and two children. The woman rests with legs in front of her, both bent, with one child sitting on her lap and another held in her arms. The woman’s head is tilted slightly upward, her mouth open and cheeks rosy, hair pulled into a bun at the back of her head. A shawl is draped over one shoulder and slightly wraps around the child in her arms, turquoise painted necklaces around her neck. The seated child on her lap is painted in purple and white clothing while the child in her arms is painted in red and black. 4 1/8″ tall x 2 1/2″ wide x 4″ deep.
