Created by Jemez potter Felicia Fragua, this lovely storyteller figurine showcases a face on both sides, with two children included on one and a Pueblo scene on the other. A woman sits with her legs outstretched on the first side of the piece, one child standing in her lap and the other clinging to one of her arms. Her mouth, as well as the children’s, are open, with her eyes expressive and cheeks rosy. The opposite side of the figurine showcases another face exactly like that on the other side, but the body features a cut out Pueblo scene, leaving the inside of the figurine hollow. The figurine is finished in black, white and red designs along the shawl covering each head. 5 1/4″ tall x 2 3/4″ wide x 3 3/4″ deep.
