Beautifully handmade and hand painted, this traditional storyteller figurine was created by Jemez potter Diane Lucero. A woman sits with her legs bent and off to one side, her mouth open, eyes expressive, and cheeks rosy. She is flanked by three children, two in her lap and one holding on to her shoulder, with the two in her lap holding a football and soccer ball, respectively. She is painted with turquoise accents along her neck and fingers, while her body is painted in black with red, turquoise, and grey accents. The children are all painted buff with black and red accents. 3″ tall x 2 1/8″ wide x 3″ deep.
