Seated with shoulders and back covered in a beautiful white shawl, this lovely storyteller showcases five children attached, four on her lap, and one just behind her head. The woman sits with both legs bent to one side, four children upon her lap. One of the children holds his hands to his mouth, while another rests both hands atop his sibling’s head, and a third, just one hand atop a sibling’s head. The last child, just behind peeks out just behind the woman’s head, mouth open and eyes expressive like those of his siblings on the woman’s lap. She is finished with rosy cheeks, an open mouth, and a basket painted in grey and black resting at her feet. 5″ tall x 4″ wide x 4 1/8″ deep.
