Jemez potter Chrislyn Fragua, known for her storyteller figurines, created this adorable piece featuring a seated woman and two babies by hand. The woman sits with her legs outstretched, a buff shawl draped over her head and painted along the border by a single corn stalk on each side and step and triangle patterns at the top. She holds one baby in each arm, both swaddled in grey and brown blankets, respectively. She is finished with rosy cheeks, and each of their three mouths are open. 3 7/8″ tall x 2 1/4″ wide x 3″ deep.
