Handmade by Jemez potter Chrislyn Fragua, this adorable storyteller figurine features a seated woman with three children, one in each arm and one on her lap. The woman sits with her legs outstretched, one child covering her eyes seated in her lap, with two additional children in her arms, one holding a ball and the other with a blanket over his shoulder. Each figure’s mouth is open and eyes are expressive, with a shawl draped over woman’s head and extending downward over her shoulders and down her back. The shawl is painted in various traditional patterns in brown, grey, and black along the edges and red and peach with reoccurring step patterns along the back. 5 5/8″ tall x 2 7/8″ wide x 4 1/2″ deep.
