The woman sits with her legs outstretched and crossed, her mouth open and cheeks rosy. She is adorned with a shawl over her shoulders and a turquoise painted necklace, the shawl decorated in traditional designs in black and red, while her skirt is painted in turquoise and white designs. One boy and one girl sit in the woman’s lap, the girl holding a basket and the boy with one hand over the woman’s and the other up near his mouth. A third child, a girl, rests over one of the woman’s shoulders, holding a book. 4 1/2″ tall x 3 7/8″ wide x 5″ deep.
