Description
Handmade and hand painted by Jemez potter Carol Lucero Gachupin, known for her beautiful and unexpected details, this adorable storyteller figurine features a large bear with two bear cubs and a pot of honey. The largest of the three bears sits with legs outstretched, one cub hanging from one arm and the other wrapped in the opposite arm. The jar of honey rests in the larger bear’s lap, painted in red, orange, black and white and dripping with golden honey from the rim. Some honey also rests on one of the cub’s paws, while a butterfly rests on the opposite cub’s arms. Each of the bears is black with white accents, and the piece is finished with adorable ladybugs set on one of the larger bear’s shoulders. 6″ tall x 4″ wide x 4″ deep.
