Well-known Isleta potter Stella Teller created this beautiful, traditional storyteller figurine featuring a seated woman and two children by hand. The woman rests with her legs outstretched, a beautiful blanked draped over one shoulder, while a little girl sleeps along the opposite arm, and a boy clings to both arm and the girl. The piece features a white base, with the figurines painted buff in the face and arms. Each of the figures eyes are closed, and mouths open, while the woman is finished with a turquoise painted necklace, the color also reflected in the blanket on her shoulder, along with red, black, buff, and peach. 4″ tall x 3 1/4″ wide x 4 1/4″ deep.
