Description

Handmade by well-known Santa Clara potter Vicki Martinez, this beautiful, smaller scale vase features etched feather patterns and a recognizable avanyu winding its way around the inflection.  Traditional feather patterns line the neck of the vase, while the avanyu, its lightning tongue protruding from its open mouth, winds around the piece just below, the wavy body also featuring etched wave patterns. The piece is finished with a mirror-like stone polish. 6 1/2″ tall x 5″ wide.
