Description
A red polished rim and center separate buff, matte, and hand painted sections of this beautiful, traditional jar by Jemez potter Juanita Fragua. Juanita, now 86 years of age, painted myriad designs on this piece in black and red, including multiple feathers back to back along the upper painted portion, and reoccurring cloud patterns along the lower. The base of the piece is also red polished, finishing it beautifully. 6 1/4″ tall x 6 1/4″ wide.
