Description

Jemez potter Carol Lucero Gachupin, known predominantly for her storyteller figurines, created this adorable, small bowl featuring  handmade ladybugs and a butterfly, along with beautiful hand painted designs.  The piece’s rim is raised slightly in the back, a small lady bug set there, while two more lady bugs are set on each side of the front portion of the rim, on either side of a clay butterfly.  The rim features a red band with traditional designs in black, leading down to a buff body pained with plant, flower, weather and feather patterns.  3 5/8″ tall x 4″ wide.
