Description
A departure from her well-known storytellers and figurines, this beautiful vase was created by Jemez potter Carol Lucero Gachupin. The piece showcases a unique, square rim, painted white along the opening and red below. This gives way to myriad hand painted designs in red, orange, buff, and black, including a traditional bird on two of the piece’s four sides, reoccurring feather patterns, flower designs, and weather patterns including clouds and rain. 6 5/8″ tall x 4 1/2″ wide.
