Description
Expertly crafted and painted by hand, this stunning, small Hopi jar was created by Emma Naha. The piece, painted in black and red designs atop a reddish-brown backdrop, is painted with multiple designs in several panels on both top and bottom, a thick black band running horizontally along the inflection separating them. These patterns include various eagle tails and feathers, hooves, clouds and rain, waves, steps, whirlwinds, and sun. The piece is finished with a high shine polish with no streaks. 5 1/8″ tall x 4 3/4″ wide.
