Handmade and expertly hand pained by well-known Acoma potter Kathy Victorino is a slight departure from her typical black and white pieces. The jar, painted in black, white, and red, features reoccurring weather designs just below the black painted rim, followed by four painted panels featuring multiple patterns. The largest patterns featured within these panels are starbursts painted in lovely fine lines, which are surrounded by additional weather patterns. Long, rectangular panels painted in red cloud and rain designs atop a black backdrop separate the larger panels, while additional weather designs are painted in black and white at the base of the piece. 10 1/8″ tall x 9 1/2″ wide.
