Created in her traditional, recognizable style, this beautiful wedding vase by Jemez potter Juanita Fragua, who is now over 80 years old, showcases a red background painted with traditional and geometric and traditional designs in buff, red, and black. The piece features a twisted handle, painted with triangle and arrow patterns in buff and black, while the body of the vase features triangle, fine line, feather, step, and corn stalk patterns painted in red and black along a buff painted backdrop. Triangle patterns are painted along one of the step-patterned openings, and the piece is finished with a beautiful polish. 8 3/4″ tall x 5 1/4″ wide.
