Jemez potter Emma Yepa, adept at blending traditional elements of her Pueblo’s pottery making with her own contemporary style, created this lovely and unique wedding vase using multiple slips and finishing it with precise etching. The piece showcases buff, red, and green slips, the green in her recognizable swirl style, while the top portion of the piece is entirely buff, and the red portions featuring lovely etch work in traditional patterns such as step, feather, and weather. The piece is finished with a gorgeous stone polish. 10 1/4″ tall x 5″ wide.
*Wedding vase is NOT finished inside and cannot hold water, even for a short period of time.*
