Description
Beautifully depicting Santa Claus, this storyteller figurine was created by Diane Lucero of Jemez Pueblo. Santa stands in his traditional garb, mouth open, eyes expressive, and cheeks rosy, with one child in each arm, another standing in front of him, and one slung over his shoulder. One child yawns, his hands at the top of his head, while one child holds a basketball and the other, a football, while the child along Santa’s shoulder appears to hold on for dear life. Two gifts rest at Santa’s feet opposite the standing child, one painted blue with snowmen and the other, white with mistletoe. 5 1/4″ tall x 2 1/2″ wide x 2 3/4″ deep.
