Showcasing a seated woman with six children along her lap, this gorgeous, traditional storyteller figurine was created by hand by Jemez potter Bonnie Fragua. The woman, depicted with an open mouth, rosy cheeks, and expressive eyes, holds a piece o pottery in both hands, while four children sprawl across her lap, one of those children holding a baby, and the last child resting at one of her feet. Opposite this child, a cat rests, while the child at the center of her lap holds a piece of pottery, and the child next to him, a dog. Children and pets showcase a buff backdrop and are painted in red and white detail, while the woman is painted in black and white. 7 3/4″ tall x 4 1/2″ wide x 4 3/4″ deep.
