Description
Robert Tenorio, one of the most well-known and prolific potters out of Santo Domingo Pueblo, and credited with the pueblo’s pottery revival, created this beautiful vase in the traditional Kewa style, adding his own unique touch of an egg white wash to add shine to the piece’s exterior. The vase showcases a rim painted solid red with black dots atop a buff interior, while the remainder of the vase features traditional hand painted designs in red, black, and buff. These designs include weather patterns such as rain, lightning, and waves, as well as geometric patterns to add even more depth and dimension. 6 3/8″ tall x 6″ wide.
