Description

With a stunning avanyu dancing around the mid inflection, this bowl is a wonderfully preserved piece of pueblo history. The bowl, likely made in the early 1990’s was hand coiled by Rosalie Simbola Aguilar and painted by husband Joe Aguilar. The black on black bowl features that stunning avanyu as stated with rain clouds shadowing him overhead. The paint is fading but still very visible and the polish is still very nice. The piece does have a crack on the outer base but does not go through the clay to the inside nor does it compromise the integrity of the vessel. 5” tall x 8 1/2” wide
