Description

Turquoise, coral, jet, white mother of pearl, pink mussel shell, malachite and sterling silver combine in this gorgeous, large ring by Zuni silversmith Tamara Pinto. The butterfly’s body comprises only malachite, while its head is set with turquoise and the ends of its sterling silver antennae, with jet. The large wings of the butterfly are inlaid with turquoise, coral, jet, white mother of pearl, and pink mussel shell dotted with turquoise, coral, and malachite, while all stones are set in simple sterling silver bezels.  Inlay and silverwork are set atop a solid sterling silver shank.  The stones, adding texture, are lightly carved with delicate lines as well.  1 1/2″ long x 1 3/4″ wide. Fits ring size 7.
