Description

Turquoise, coral, jet, golden and white mother of pearl and sterling silver combine in intricate inlay to create these traditional Zuni thunderbird earrings. Each thunderbird’s head is inlaid with white mother of pearl and features a jet eye, while the feather atop each head is inlaid with coral and each beak with turquoise.  The body of each thunderbird showcases a larger portion of golden mother of pearl and accents of coral and turquoise, while the wings are inlaid solely with jet.  The thunderbirds are finished with turquoise and jet tail feathers, sterling silver slivers separating them and the feathers along the wings, and each bird also features sterling rope patterns running down each wing, as well as applique sterling dot accents.  1 1/4″ long x 1″ wide.  Earrings are post.
