Description
Inlaid in the shape of a thunderbird in traditional stones of turquoise, coral, jet, and mother of pearl, this gorgeous Zuni belt buckle was created by Bobby and Corraine Shack. The piece features a large thunderbird at its center, the head on a profile and inlaid with jet and white mother of pearl, while the beak and neck display golden mother of pearl and the top of the head, a coral feather. The thunderbird’s body and wings are inlaid with turquoise, coral, jet, and white mother of pearl, while its tail feathers only display jet and white mother of pearl, along with feather designs placed at each corner of the buckle. Inlay work rests atop a beautiful sterling silver base, showcasing strategically placed appliqued sterling dots, as well as stamped star patterns along the edges of the thunderbird and stamped scallop designs along the edges. 3″ long x 2″ wide. Fits belt size 1 5/8″.
