Description
Comprising both discs and larger, tear drop shaped slabs of both wampum shell and turquoise, this stunning heishi necklace was created by Santo Domingo artist Lupe Lovato. Gorgeous wampum shell, varying white to deep purple, intertwines with bright blue turquoise in both round discs and larger panels to create a cascading effect. The jacla at the center of the necklace comprises one thicker turquoise slab bordered on each side by two thinner wampum shell slabs, with additional wampum shell tear drops interspersed between the discs completing the remainder of the necklace. 26″ from end to end. Necklace is finished with a hook and eye closure.
