Description

Off-white howlite and bright blue turquoise beads combine with tan olive shell heishi in this lovely necklace by Santo Domingo artist Ella Mae Garcia.  The howlite pieces contain portions of tan and grey matrix, while olive shell varying tan to deep brown separates the beads from one another and finishes each of the three strands at the top.  Turquoise dotted along each strand adds a bright pop of color.  Necklace is finished with a delicate piece of braided, tied carpet thread.  16″ long from top to bottom, can be adjusted by untying and retying the thread.
