Navajo silversmith Zeita Begay created this lovely, traditional pin/pendant with large, tear drop shaped turquoise stones set in concentric circles. The center of the piece showcases one, smaller, round turquoise stone in a sawtooth sterling silver bezel, surrounded by a sterling silver rope pattern and a circle of eight tear drop shaped turquoise pieces. This rosette, in turn, is surrounded by another sterling silver rope pattern, followed by another circle of tear drop shaped turquoise pieces, these set in sawtooth sterling bezels and separated by appliqued sterling silver dots. Each of the blue-green stones contain portions of golden/brown matrix running throughout, and bail is set at the top of the back of the piece, while pin rests horizontally across the center. 2 1/8″ diameter.
