Navajo silversmiths Linberg and Eva Billah created this gorgeous naja pendant with the sandcast method and also employed this use of turquoise to add a pop of color. The naja features brushed, sandcast sterling silver stamped with scallop and line designs, with indentation at the ends and area just below the turquoise stone appliqued with sterling star patterns. The hollowed out ends of the piece showcase stamped crescent moon and dot designs within, while the remainder of the hollowed out portions (located inside the naja’s opening) are stamped with scallop patterns. The turquoise piece, located at the center top, is set in a sawtooth sterling silver bezel, contains portions of brown matrix running throughout, and is surrounded at the base by a sterling silver rope pattern. Bail of the piece is also stamped with various designs, including fine lines, crescent moons, and dots. 3 3/8″ long including bail x 2″ wide.
