Description

Tear drop shaped and round pieces of Sleeping Beauty turquoise are set in a circular cluster in this handmade pin/pendant by Navajo silversmith Zeita Begay.  The center of the piece features the only round turquoise piece, which is surrounded at the base by a sterling silver rope pattern, followed by four tear drop shaped pieces of turquoise.  This circle, in turn, is surrounded by another sterling rope pattern, with tear drop shaped turquoise bordering it as well.  Outer turquoise stones are separated by small, appliqued sterling dots, and all stones are set in sawtooth sterling silver bezels.  Bail rests at the top of the back of the piece, while pin rests horizontally just below.  1 1/2″ diameter.
