A traditional, sterling silver bear paw is set with one coral and one turquoise piece in this finely made Navajo bolo tie by Thomas Nez. Each stone is set in a sawtooth sterling silver bezel within a cutout at the bottom of the paw, comprising the pad and creating a shadowbox effect. Five claws are also cut out of the sterling panel making up the paw, completing the piece nicely. Sterling bolo tips are stamped with scallop designs at the top. 22″ from top to bottom. Bear paw measures 1 7/8″ long x 1 1/4″ wide.
