Nine oval stones of amber dot eight small najas and one larger naja in this beautiful, traditional Navajo necklace. Created in the style of a squash blossom necklace, but featuring najas rather than blossoms, this piece showcases four najas on each side of a double sterling silver beaded necklace, set in the middle with an oval amber piece in a simple sterling silver bezel. The largest naja, set at the center of the necklace, also is set with a single amber piece a the center, in addition to an appliqued sterling star pattern at each end. Necklace merges into a single strand of sterling beads just above the last naja on each side, and is finished with a hook and eye closure. Cannot be laid flat from end to end for measurement. Measures 13″ from top to bottom including naja length. Naja measures 2″ long x 1 1/2″ wide.
