A large, diamond shaped panel of brushed sterling silver provides the backdrop for multiple stones in this stunning pendant by Navajo silversmith Shawn Cayatineto. The pendant showcases a single, round turquoise stone at its center, set in a sawtooth sterling silver bezel and containing portions of black matrix running throughout. It is surrounded by repoussé tear drop shapes, with the remainder of the silver along the pendant stamped with various designs, including triangles, dots, scallops, and crescent moons. Along the edges of the piece, turquoise and red and orange spiny oyster pieces are set in sawtooth sterling silver bezels, adding pops of color against the brushed sterling. Bail of the piece also features repousse tear drop shapes and stamped designs. It is large enough to accommodate beads or multiple strands. 4 5/8″ long including bail x 3 3/4″ wide.
