Navajo pearls in varying sizes and shapes, along with turquoise and red spiny oyster shell discs, comprise this gorgeous Navajo necklace. Brushed sterling silver beads along the necklace graduate larger toward the center, where they also change shape slightly from rounded to almost saucer-like. These beads are separated intermittently with discs of red spiny oyster shell, which, because of the way they’re cut, show the porosity of the shell, along with blue turquoise discs, many of which contain portions of brown matrix. Necklace is finished with an addition of two red spiny and one turquoise disc at one end, and is finished with a hook and eye closure. Measures 23 1/2″ from end to end. Can be adjusted shorter to 21″.
