Created entirely by hand by Navajo silversmith Nelson Morgan, this impressive pin/pendant showcases a gorgeous Eagle Dancer in turquoise and sterling silver. The body of the eagle comprises a single turquoise stone set in a simple sterling silver bezel and surrounded at the base by a sterling silver rope pattern. The stone, blue in color, contains portions of brown matrix. Curved sterling silver wings border each side of the stone, the wings stamped with impossibly thin fine lines. The dancer’s sterling silver head protrudes from the top of the stone and is slightly mobile, showcasing a cylindrical head and cut out rectangular eyes. It is topped with two sterling feathers protruding outward and three more protruding upward, fashioned in the style of those along the wings. Hook bail is located at the back of the head, while pin rests horizontally across the top of the lower portion of the piece. 2 1/2″ long x 1 3/4″ wide.
