Navajo silversmith Monica Smith creates stunning pieces of jewelry using brushed sterling silver, most often in the form of squash blossoms and Navajo pearls. This gorgeous necklace combines the two, featuring a single squash blossom strung at the end of black leather, topped with a single Navajo pearl. The pearl, which can be easily slid up and down the piece of leather, is set along the center with a single row of multiple stones, mimicking the same concept along the center of the squash blossom. Stones are all set in sawtooth sterling silver bezels and include red and orange spiny oyster shell and turquoise. Blossom measures 2 3/8″ long including bail x 1 1/8″ wide. Pearl measures 3/4″ long x 1″ wide. Necklace measures 20 1/4″ from top to bottom and ties at the top, so can be adjusted shorter.
