Description
Brushed, sandcast sterling silver and turquoise combine to create this impressive Naja pendant by Navajo silversmith Kevin Billah. The piece features a large, round turquoise stone set just below the bail, as well as two small turquoise stones set on each end and one along the top of the scalloped-edged bail. Each stone is set in a sawtooth sterling silver bezel and blue in color, containing portions of black matrix running throughout, while the largest of the four is surrounded at the base by a sterling silver rope pattern. The silver is stamped with various designs, including scallops, dots, fine lines, and crescent moons. Bail is finished with appliqued sterling dots on either side of the turquoise stone, and stamped with designs mimicking those along the naja. 4″ long including bail x 2 5/8″ wide.
