Description
A single, beautiful sugilite stone varying medium to dark purple to black comprises most of the body of a traditional maiden in this ring by Navajo silversmith Bennie Ration. The stone, set in a simple sterling silver bezel, is surrounded at the base by a sterling silver rope pattern, followed by a sterling band stamped with scallop and fine line designs and appliqued with rows of sterling dots. Protruding from the body is a sterling silver maiden’s head, complete with deeply grooved rectangular eyes and a round, appliqued mouth. Her forehead is stamped with fine lines, representing hair, while a bun, also stamped with fine lines, rests on each side of her head. 1 1/2″ long x 3/4″ wide. Fits ring size 8.
