Predominantly featuring sterling silver in the shadowbox style, this adorable turtle pendant was created by well-known Navajo silversmith Bennie Ration. The turtle’s shell is set with a single, rounded triangular turquoise stone at the center in a simple sterling silver bezel, which contains small portions of black matrix. Step pattern cut outs complete the remainder of the shell, creating the shadowbox effect, while sterling panels extend from the turtle’s body to form limbs, head, and tail. Hook bail is set at the back of the head. 1 3/4” long x 1 1/2″ wide.
